I was born and raised in Wrangell and I am fortunate to be living and working in my hometown. Teaching in Wrangell provides me endless opportunities to give back to my community. Prior to teaching in Wrangell, I lived and taught in the Northwest Arctic for four years. I taught elementary school in the village of Selawik (30 miles above the Arctic Circle) and in Kotzebue. I moved back to Wrangell in 2010. Here, I have taught middle/high school as the special education teacher, and currently, I am the 3rd grade teacher at the elementary school. In my free time, you can find me spending time with my family, traveling, being in the outdoors, or running!
