I Will Put School First

Positive behavior and excellent academics are my most important goals and top priorities. I will do everything I can to contribute to an environment conducive to learning and a rewarding extracurricular experience. I am a trustworthy and honest student-athlete

I Am Responsible and Accountable

Participation in all team activities will be required. I will arrive on time, participate and stay for the duration of all activities. Activities include but are not limited to meetings, training sessions, matches, study tables, social events and award ceremonies. I will be responsible for all documents, requirements and equipment associated and distributed to me. I will comport myself in a manner that reflects my hard work, integrity and discipline.

We Are Family

Home life will include helping parents and sibling with chores, homework and other duties. All family, team and staff members will be treated with the utmost respect. We are more than a team and I will work together with and support all my family, teammates and staff. I will solve all problems in a compassionate and understanding manner. My family and Waukegan Soccer Family can depend on me.

Team Goals over Individual Achievements

This soccer program will be recognized as a collective and unified group of members committed to common goals and aspirations. I will put the team first and focus all my individual abilities and energy into making the team successful in all areas. Individual achievements will come as a result of our dedication to the team.

I Will Display Sportsmanship

Please refrain from all displays of dissent, defiance, foul language and violence of any kind. Failure to do so can and will be grounds for dismissal from the soccer program. I will follow all IHSA rules and regulations, WPS60 District policies and Waukegan Soccer guidelines. I am a role model to the younger players and will display integrity and a positive attitude at all times.

Health and Wellness

Drugs, alcohol, vaping, and all other harmful substances will not be tolerated or accepted. If I have a substance abuse problem I will seek help. I will eat a nutritious diet and make healthy choices to protect my mind, body and soul.

I Will Serve My Community

I am here to help the Waukegan community. This soccer program is not about what the community can do for me. It is all about what I can do for my community. I will be a positive member of the community.

I Am A Leader

I will help my parents, teammates and coaches in daily tasks. I will work hard consistently even when it is difficult to achieve my and the team’s goals. I will be strong and brave.

Somos Familia

Metas de equipo sobre logros individuales

Mostraré deportividad

Por favor, absténgase de todas las muestras de disidencia, desafío, lenguaje obsceno y violencia de cualquier tipo. El no hacerlo puede y será motivo de expulsión del programa de fútbol. Seguiré todas las reglas y regulaciones de IHSA, las políticas del Distrito WPS60 y las pautas de Waukegan Soccer. Soy un modelo a seguir para los jugadores más jóvenes y mostraré integridad y una actitud positiva en todo momento.

Salud y Bienestar

No se tolerarán ni aceptarán las drogas, el alcohol, el vapeo y todas las demás sustancias nocivas. Si tengo un problema de abuso de sustancias buscaré ayuda. Seguiré una dieta nutritiva y tomaré decisiones saludables para proteger mi mente, cuerpo y alma.

Serviré a mi comunidad

Estoy aquí para ayudar a la comunidad de Waukegan. Este programa de fútbol no se trata de lo que la comunidad puede hacer por mí. Se trata de lo que puedo hacer por mi comunidad. Seré un miembro positivo de la comunidad.

Soy un líder

Ayudaré a mis padres, compañeros y entrenadores en las tareas diarias. Trabajaré duro constantemente incluso cuando sea difícil lograr mis objetivos y los del equipo. Seré fuerte y valiente.
