Like many of you reading this page, I was raised in Ely, Nevada and went to school at White Pine High School. Upon graduating I moved to Provo, UT to further my education. I graduated Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Science Education.  While teaching in Utah, I continued my education by attending culinary school. After graduating from Utah Valley University with an Associates of Applied Science in Culinary Arts,  my husband and I moved back to our home town. I recently completed my Master's of Education with a focus in Career and Technical Education.
