MISSION

Mission of the church

Westminster Presbyterian has always been active in mission projects 

throughout the region, state, nation and world.

• The church Deacon’s fund helps members of our greater community with emergency needs.

• Contributions to Meals on Wheels and “Food 2 Go 4 Kids” — backpacks of weekend food for at-risk kids.

• Support for Westmoreland Food Bank

• Operation Christmas Child

• “Christmas in July” collection to help a smaller church in our region and the Union Mission for Men.

• More than a dozen mission trips to the Gulf Coast, the Midwest, New York and other areas as part of Presbyterian Disaster Assistance

• One Great Hour of Sharing

• Sudan Mission Network

• Meals on Wheels Cookie Ministry
