Makerspace

Libraries are the place students go to explore and discover... and now they are designing in the same space! Explore the Makerspace’s influence as we re-imagine K-12 school libraries and different ways schools are adopting the design thinking model. In this presentation, WOSU Classroom will describe their experiences in implementing Makerspaces with Design Thinking in Columbus City Schools K-5 Libraries. This presentation will inform the audience about Makerspace Equipment, learning space design and developing a design thinking mindset in students.
