In Google Plus follow three people or organizations

In Google Plus join three communities. Put your Google Plus information and communities information in your Google Site.

Core Apps

Create a section for each of the core apps (docs, slides, forms, sheets, and drawings).

Each sections should include the following:

1. App icon image.

2. Ways in which the app could be used in schools

3. An example product.

Gmail

Go into your Gmail and create three labels.

Now that you have three labels go ahead and move some of your mail into these labels.

Create one filter

Google Hangouts

In your Gmail locate your Hangout Area. Add colleague to your hangout.

Start a text hangout or video Hangout with colleague.

Google Calendar

Become familiar with Creating and Sharing Calendars. Adding Events and all of the options that come with an event from inviting to sharing in Events is important.

Google Groups

Locate Google Groups from your Google App Launcher.

Make sure you know how to start a Google Group

Locate Google Classroom

Create a class in Google Classroom based on your Dream Field Trip and add your colleagues as co-teachers to this Google Classroom.

In the Classroom create an Announcement about your Field Trip and add a Google Doc

In the Classroom create an Assignment related to your field trip and add a Google Doc.

Open up this Sample Google Sheet and then make a copy for yourself.
