Prior to accepting a teaching position at Worth County Schools, I served as the lead teacher and principal designee at Harris County Educational Opportunity Center and Performance Learning Center. I’ve also served as a math teacher, business teacher, television production teacher, and assistant athletic director at Jones High School located in Orlando, Florida. In addition to my role as an educator, additional duties included maintaining records of all student athletes, supervising sporting events, scheduling sporting events, sponsoring sporting events, arranging security for sporting events, coaching football, coaching basketball, coaching track and field, and performed other duties and responsibilities as the Athletic Director assigned.

Furthermore, my teaching experience of over seventeen years as well as a part-time online instructorship at Kaplan University, have given me the opportunity to interact with students and Colleagues from a broad range of demographics background. In addition to receiving teacher of the year award for the 2012-2013 school year, my leadership abilities have been demonstrated by implementing various programs for improving student achievement and by serving as liaison between principal, academic advisors, and academic departments.
