Setting the Language

For the AI Agent Interactions and Presentation Generator, you can change the default language that is used. This will then reflect what language the AI Agent speaks and responds to, and what language the Presentations are generated with and narrations. 

To change this, as of version 1.2.7 you can go to the Options Tab and under "AI Agent" change the language in the text field (as of E-Learning Lab 1.3.9 this is now a dropdown)

Here is the list of language titles to use: 

Arabic, Bulgarian, Catalan, Czech, Welsh, Danish, German, Greek, English, Spanish, Farsi, Finnish, French, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Indonesian, Icelandic, Italian, Georgian, Kazakh, Luxembourgish, Latvian, Malayalam, Nepali, Dutch, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Slovak, Slovenian, Serbian, Swedish, Swahili, Telugu, Turkish, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, Chinese 

As of E-Learning Lab 1.3.9 if Piper is used it will switch to Edge-TTS for languages other than English and Greek. This can be adjusted in the settings so the below steps will not be necessary. 

Note for PiperTTS: You have the voice use the proper pronunciation and accent you must download the appropriate voice pack from Piper here:

Download the .onnx and .onnx.json files and place these in the "voices" folder in E-Learning Lab

Lastly, click on "Open AI Config" and change the ALT_PIPER_VOICE_MALE or ALT_PIPER_VOICE_FEMALE to use the new downloaded voice pack. If the language inputted is another language other than "English" it will use the ALT voice. To have more than one language, you would need to download them into the "voices" folder and manually swap out the ALT one to use.
