Day 1 - Sunday, June 1st

• Afternoon departure from Redmond 

• Evening arrival into Baltimore, MD

• Transfer to the Eastern Shore of Maryland

• Stay at Pecometh Retreat Center

Day 2 - Monday, June 2nd

• Breakfast at Pecometh Retreat Center

• Learning Session: Opening Artifact Arcade

• Learning Session: In My Shoes

• Learning Session: AMPing Up

• Full day with Horn Point Laboratory (focused on environmental sustainability - possible activities include tour of oyster hatchery, canoeing and interactive works in the laboratory, etc.) 

• 4 PM: Possible afternoon swimming in the pool at Pecometh

• Dinner and stay at Pecometh Retreat Center

Day 3 - Tuesday, June 3rd

• Morning visit to Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum

  • Seeking Freedom (10-11:30 AM)

• Bagged lunch in St. Michael’s with crab cake tasting!

• Afternoon historical cruise on the river

• Learning Session: Do You Want To…?

• Dinner and stay at Pecometh Retreat Center

Day 4 - Wednesday, June 4th

• Breakfast at Pecometh Retreat Center

• Morning transfer to Washington, D.C. 

• Visit to the National Museum of African American History and Culture

• Afternoon student-selected small-group exploration of the monuments, National Mall or museums

• Learning Session: Pyramid of Perspective Jigsaw

• Dinner and stay at Pecometh Retreat Center

Day 5 - Thursday, June 5th

• Breakfast at Pecometh Retreat Center

• Full day with Eastern Shore Network for Change in Cambridge, MD (walking tour of Cambridge, visit to Harriet Tubman’s Visitor Center, Race Street, etc.) 

• Dinner at Emily’s Produce, a family run-farm

• Learning Session: Closing Artifact Arcade 

• Learning Session: High-Five Hustle

• Stay at Pecometh Retreat Center

Day 6 - Friday, June 6th

• Breakfast at Pecometh Retreat Center

• Learning Session: Candle Circle 

• Morning bunkhouse clean-up and depart from Centreville, MD 

• 10 AM: meet at Lincoln Memorial for early student departure

• Bagged lunch on the National Mall 

• Afternoon transfer to airport for return to Redmond
