Vansha Ghar was founded in 2016 by Ramesh Upreti of Urlabari, Nepal. Upreti was one of the investors of Bajeko Sewuka, a large food chain in Nepal.
Nepali cuisine has gained popularity among adventurous foodies worldwide.
Vansha Ghar's staff, from the head chef to the wait staff, are all exclusively Nepali. We serve the dishes that we know and love from Nepal.
We source almost all of the most important spices used in our traditional Nepali dishes directly from Nepal, making Vansha Ghar one of the best restaurants to try authentic Nepali cuisine.

Vansha Ghar's head chef, Jagat Shrestha, is originally from Bhaktapur in the Bagmati Province of Nepal.
Chef Shrestha joined Vansha Ghar as its original chef in 2016. He now has 9 people in his kitchen staff, all of them from Nepal.
Jagat started his culinary career when he was 19 years old. He was formerly a hotel chef at Radisson Blu in Kathmandu, where he cooked continental as well as Nepali cuisine. He later joined Bajeko Sekuwa, a large restaurant chain in Nepal, as its sous chef.
As head chef of Vansha Ghar, Jagat has made it his mission to introduce the people of Abu Dhabi to the delights of Nepali cuisine.
