Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines.
Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
Culinary position main responsibilities
-Prepare food consistently following recipes and production standards, starting items in advance without over-preparing, and ensure proper dating and rotation of all food containers.
-Check shift pars, determine preparation needs, manage freezer pulls, set up lines, and address any out-of-stock items or shortages. Help keep the buffet stocked.
-Return unused food to designated storage, ensuring proper covering and dating. Assist in implementing measures to control food costs, minimize waste, and manage usage.
-Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment such as fryers, broilers, stoves, and mixers according to standards.
