Jiminy Peak is a ski area located in Hancock, Massachusetts, which is located in the Western half of the state, only a few miles from the border with New York. Located in the heart of the Berkshires/the Taconics, Jiminy Peak is the largest ski area in Massachusetts, in terms of both skiable area and vertical drop. The ski area is known as a nice, medium-sized family mountain, which has the charm of Vermont but is located closer to major population centers.
