Our weekend & multi-day Events bring people from across Europe together to experience the Middle Ages through shared meals, crafts, tournaments and cozy evenings. There are no spectators, no stress, and no need to perform. We often take road trips together to Events hosted by friends across Germany and beyond.
Local Practice & Picnic

A relaxed afternoon to meet people and hang out. Chat, enjoy a picnic, make something, watch or try fighting. Everything is optional.
Usually in the Nuremberg/Fürth area or Lichtenfels. Modern clothing. A small hall fee may apply in winter. Please let us know in advance if you'd like to borrow armour.

A relaxed evening with no agenda, just good company, conversation, food or drink if you like, and sometimes a board game or two. A great way to meet the group, share stories and plan future adventures.
Modern clothing. Drinks with and without alcohol. Reservation under "Turmstadt".

Whether you're a beginner or experienced, everyone is welcome. No experience or project needed.
Some people work on their projects, others help out or simply come for a chat. Free of charge, usually in Nuremberg. Modern clothing. Tea and coffee available. Feel free to bring a snack.

Try one of the relaxed meet-ups in our Turmstadt local calendar above. Most have a particular focus, but there is always plenty of room simply to come along, see what is happening and settle in at your own pace. You can join an activity, chat if you feel like it, quietly spend time alongside others or just watch for a while. You can usually turn up without registering unless this is specifically mentioned. (Click on the event in the calendar for more details and a precise location.)
Occasionally, this local calendar also shows an official Event that is especially relevant to our group, usually because several of us plan to attend. Official Events normally require advance registration and medieval clothing to create the shared setting, but we can usually lend you something suitable. Please message us before attending your first one, and we will help you prepare. (Many more Events take place across Europe throughout the year. You can explore them in the European events calendar.)
Whether this is completely new to you or you have loved the Middle Ages for years, you are very welcome. If you are unsure about anything, you can always send us a message beforehand.
