Welcome to EXCELL (Excellence in Cultural Experiential Learning and Leadership) Intercultural Skills Program. This site introduces the program, as well as being a resource centre for students and Alumni of the program.

What is the Intercultural Skills Program? The program is a best practice intercultural social effectiveness program designed from established principles of learning. Delivered in four to six 3-hour sessions, the program provides people new to a culture with the tools to build effective intercultural social relationships for educational and career success.

Resources for trainers and participants and are continually being developed. A list of manuals, recommended reading, links and training workshop are available, and feedback on resources that others have found helpful is always welcome.

The Internationalisation at Home (IaH) project This is an Office for Learning and Teaching (OLT; Australian Government) Priority Project and is being conducted at the University of Canberra and Griffith University, Australia (2011-2012). The aim is to enhance national approaches to intercultural competency within Business and Health higher education curricula.
