First period /homeroom starts at 7:20. Students should plan to be in their first period classroom by 7:20
LUNCH: Your lunch period is based on the location of your 5th period class ( or 4th period class in the ETA). Your teachers will tell you which lunch period your class attends.

You can view your schedule in the Student Portal.
The WooEdu Student portal is live - you can download from the app store or visit student.wooedu.org.
Use the Google Single Sign on button and choose your WPS account. The link is also in Clever.
On the first day of school, ALL GRADE 9 Students will go the the CAFETERIA to pick up a copy of their schedule.
Students in grades 10-12 will pick up their schedules in designated classrooms based on their last name. Check the lists that will be posted around the school or ask the staff in the hallways where students in your section of the alphabet will pick up their schedule.
Staff members will be available in the cafeteria and in the hallways to help students to find their classes.

Then most students will have a foreign language, Academic Literacy or an ESL class; plus an elective class if there is room. ETA (Engineering Technology Academy) students will have "Intro Tech - Eng" as their elective course.

At the start of the school year, the Guidance Counselors will be working to address scheduling errors and will accommodate requests as much as possible given current course availability.
These required courses should be on your schedule: English 1, Math (Algebra or Geometry), Biology, World History (or AP Human Geography), Physical Education, College & Career Readiness I. Then most students will have a foreign language, Academic Literacy or an ESL class; Plus an elective class if there is room. ETA (Engineering Technology Academy) students will have "Intro Tech - Eng" as their elective course.
If you have an error in your schedule, here are two options to choose from in order to amend your schedule:
1. BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL:Send an email to Mrs. Fairfull (fairfullj@worcesterschools.net) with the specifics of your errors in your schedule ...
OR
2. THE FIRST DAYS OF SCHOOL: Complete a SCHEDULE ERROR form. You will receive information about this in your period 1 class.
Schedule changes should not be requested for the sole purpose of changing from one teacher to another, or to choose a different elective than what was selected previously.
