Hi! Welcome to the team. As part of your classroom setup, our goal is to ensure you have the tools and support you need to teach effectively from day one. This section will guide you through the technology in your classroom, including your Chromebook, Google Workspace account, classroom displays, printing, and other instructional tools.
If you ever need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We are here to make your transition smooth and to help you feel confident with the systems we use every day.
At Worcester, we use Google Workspace for Education to streamline our workflows, simplify management, and support a more collaborative learning environment. This allows us to take advantage of the Google Suit to easily share files and communicate throughout the building.

Your Google account credentials will also serve as your login on any Chrome device throughout Worcester Central School.

To make things easier, anyone with a Worcester Google account will automatically see the WCS Bookmarks folder in their browser toolbar. This folder includes a collection of commonly used links and resources that staff access regularly throughout the school day.
Each floor in the building has a central copier/printer. The copier alcoves on each floor are stacked directly above and below one another for easy locating. There is also an additional copier/printer in the Main Office.
To print from your Chromebook, simply select Print as you normally would. Your print job will be held securely in the system. When you're ready to pick it up, go to any of the copiers, swipe your ID badge at the card reader, and your documents will print. You have up to 16 hours to release a print job before it is cleared from the queue.
If a student forgets their Google password, you can reset it quickly through the Google Admin console. Simply locate the student’s account, select Reset Password, and provide a temporary password. The student will be prompted to create a new password the next time they log in. This helps keep their account secure while getting them back to learning quickly. Please watch the above video
