Saturday, April 1st (rain date, April 2nd)
We will be visiting the town of Oxford to dig up and prep their pollinator garden site. Oxford Girl Scouts will then plant out the garden later in the spring.
During this trip, we will also have the opportunity to meet with the town Conservation Commissioner and learn about his work removing invasive species in Oxford, another component of nurturing native plant populations.
Finally, we will meet with local beekeepers to learn about how pollinator gardens and enhancing native plant populations sustains their business.
