A Quick Guide

Welcome to Woodville High School

The booklet below has been put together as a general guide for accessing online learning at Woodville High School. Some teachers may have other platforms they like to use, which they will inform you about.

It will go over the basics of Daymap, Google Drive and Microsoft Teams. That information is also provided throughout this website for ease of use.

Daymap is the Learner Management System where you can access your learning program, resources, pre-readings or viewings, assessment requirements and timelines. Each subject in Daymap has a Subject Outline, which will have a summary of the subject/topics for the term, a timeline for each topic and the assessment tasks. Each week, your teacher will post on Daymap the tasks for that week. It will generally follow this format:

Learning Goal – this explains the learning goal for the week

Learning Process – these are the steps you need to follow to complete the task(s)

Submission – this is what and how you will hand in your work

Communication – this is how and when you can contact your teacher

Please read it carefully, and contact your teachers if there is anything you don’t understand, or would like help with.
