Woodstock School
Woodstock School is Asia's oldest international school, boasting a heritage of over 170 years. A co-educational, residential, IB international school with American heritage, Woodstock is located in the foothills of the Himalayas and embraces a balanced approach in developing lifelong learners in face-to-face, outdoor, and digital spaces. At Woodstock we provide a student-centered, interdisciplinary, transformative experiential education.
We value global citizenship rooted in a culture of service. A Christian school with a long tradition as an inclusive and welcoming community supportive of a diversity of belief and practice, Woodstock also values lived diversity, reflection, collaboration, holistic integrity, and self-discovery. We learn from and serve others with an emphasis on empathy and understanding, celebrating our unique identity and building on our rich heritage while also equipping our students to be 21st century learners and leaders in a fast-changing world.
Personal Counselling Department at Woodstock School
Woodstock's Personal Counselling Department provides a robust and comprehensive counseling program. We offer individual and group counseling sessions and take a proactive approach by delivering K-12 social-emotional lessons and organizing school-wide activities to enhance mental health awareness. Our team also actively collaborates with local schools to increase awareness and reduce the stigma associated with seeking mental health support.
Our dedication to advancing mental health and wellbeing has been recognized internationally. We were honored as finalists in the 2023 Boarding School Association Mental Health and Wellbeing Award category, a testament to our commitment to excellence across schools in 37 countries. Additionally, our leadership was showcased when we were invited to speak at the 2024 International School Counsellors Conference in Athens, further emphasising our continuous commitment to fostering a supportive educational environment.
