Step 1:  Please read and review the eligibility requirements linked above.

Step 2:  Have the NCHSAA Student-Athlete Preparticipation Physical Evaluation (click for form) completed by a physician.  

• The form must be renewed after 395 days.

• You will upload the completed form to DragonFly in the next step.

Step 3:  Complete registration using DragonFly.  Be sure you use your own name — not the name of a student or child.  You will be prompted to:

• Upload the physical evaluation form from step 2.

• Pick as many sports as you think you will participate in this school year.  You can always add or edit later. High school sports are listed as “varsity” and middle school sports are listed as “8th grade” in the system.

• Pay athletic fees.  Pay this fee with your credit card on DragonFly AFTER TRYOUTS.

  • • $100.00 per sport Middle School (5th grade managers do not have to pay a fee but physical and concussion is still required to practice.  Cross country and cheerleading are the exception because 5th grade students are eligible to participate). *Baseball is fee is TBD, as it's based on the number of participants and operational cost. 

    • $175.00 Fee per sport Varsity (9-12th grade) 

    • $250.00 Fee for Varsity Golf (9-12th grade)

*If you play two sports in one season (ex. Fall Sport Season- boys soccer and cross country or volleyball and cross country then you only have to pay for one sport in that season. This does NOT apply to the whole year.
