Mr. Jason Frient is the Intervention Specialist who works with 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students at Woodridge Elementary School (WES). This is his 12th year at WES and his 18th year teaching. Mr. Frient graduated from Ashland University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education; K-12 Intervention. He has also completed coursework to become highly qualified in reading in 2008 and finished additional coursework to become highly qualified in math, science, and social studies in 2014. In 2019 he completed a Master of Education degree in special education and behavioral intervention at Kent State University. In addition to teaching, he is a member of the District Leadership Team, WES Positive Behavior Supports and Interventions (PBIS) Committee, LRE Committee (Intervention), Internal Monitoring Committee (Special Education Compliance), and co-advisor of the Woodridge Snow Club.
