Hi Families,
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Please pick up your tickets for the Christmas program at the front counter. If you don't need all six of your tickets please return them. We have families needing more tickets. In the lobby we have the trading tree. Your child may bring an ornament to place on the tree and take an ornament home. Stop by the tree as often as you like to look at the new ornaments. You may trade ornaments as often as you like. I am looking for a parent to take on the auction project for the foundation dinner. Please let me know if you are interested.
Best Regards,
Mrs. Bunton

It is the responsibility of the parent(s) to monitor their child's overall health, at home, before coming to school. If your child has any cold, flu or COVID symptoms, please keep them home. Your decision to bring a sick child to school affects nine other children and families as well as the teacher. Please be considerate. Students who have a fever may not return to school until they are fever free without medication for at least 24 hours and can participate in classroom activities scheduled during their day. Students how have vomited may not return to school before 24 hours and must also be able to participate in classroom activites scheduled during their day.
Yolo county officials encourage all persons to help take preventive measures for reducing the spread of COVID-19. Wash your hands often, refrain from touching your face and stay home when you (or your child) has symptoms of illness. Should your child test positive for COVID-19, please visit the WCS App to notify us. See COVID Self Check here.
During the school year, the teachers have classroom items they are looking for. If you can help, please let your child's teacher know or email Mrs. Bunton at cbunton@woodlandchristian.org. Remember, each $15.00 spent equals one service hour.
Also, during the year there are opportunities for Service Hours.

We need a parent to take on the Foundation Dinner Auction Project.

Parent hours are required for each WCS family. For Preschool families, parent hours are as follows: 15 hours for 5 full day students, 9 hours for MWF students, 6 hours for TTH students. Parent hours are easy to get. Providing treats for parties or classroom supplies is a great way. $15.00 will equal 1 parent hour. Teacher always have cutting projects they would love help with. Cutting projects are equal hour to hour and must be completed by an adult. Sorry, no "kid cutting." To record your parent hours, you will need to create an account in FACTS. You will want to be sure to use the email address on your child's registration paperwork. Mr. Devine has created this short video on how to create a FACTS account.
HOW TO VIDEO: Click here to view the video on loom.
Please let us know if there are changes to your emergency contact/pick up information, a change in address/phone or if your child has updated immunizations. We will be happy to take that information for you.
WCS has created an App button labeled PRAYER REQUESTS. If you would like us to pray for you, simply select the Prayer Requests tab, type in your name and prayer request and a phone number if you want someone to contact you. Select submit and you will have loving WCS family personnel praying for you.
