Please join us on Thursday, April 2 in the Theater for a special Easter Chapel!
Thank you to all of you who came out to support and cheer on our preschool through 5th grade students as they participated in our annual Jog-A-Thon! Your presence and encouragement helped make the event a joyful one for our students.
Our students gave their best effort and encouraged one another with each lap. Events like this are a great reminder of the strength and unity we share as a school family.
We are grateful for your continued support and partnership—it truly makes a difference in the lives of our students.
The Elks are once again providing vision screening for our elementary students. The screening will take place during school April 13-16 (9:00-1:00) in our Learning Center. Each class has been assigned a day and time.
If you do not want your student to be screened, please email Mrs. Geiser (cgeiser@woodlandchristian.org) by Wednesday, April 1.
If you would be interested in being a screening assistant, we can use your help. Let Mrs. Geiser know which days and times you would be available for that week. (And, yes, this is a great way to earn some parent hours!)
On May 4-8, our learning center will be filled with quality books to inspire our students to keep reading this summer.
Parent help will be needed:
Friday, May 1, 9:30 until the book fair is set up
Before and after school May 4-8 (7:30-8:15 and 2:45-3:30)
During lunch on Thursday, May 7 (11:30-1:00)
After school on Friday, May 8, packing up the merchandise not sold (approximately 3:30-5:00)
Let Mrs. Geiser know if you are interested in helping out in any of these ways (cgeiser@woodlandchristian.org).

You can place your order here: https://woodlandchristianschool.regfox.com/vacation-stations-2026
Dropping off students at the gate along Cardinal Way is always the most efficient for those of you who are on your way to work in the morning. If you use the parking lot in front of the office to drop off your child and/or walk them to class, please be mindful of two things:
Park in a designated parking space. Please do not stop in the lane to let your child out. This slows down traffic and is potentially unsafe for your child.
If you park, please do not use the handicap spaces unless you have a handicap placard or sticker.

Reading Support
Our Student Support Teacher, Mrs. Schroeder, has put together a document of resources if you want to work on additional reading with your student at home. The document has links to different websites that can be used on a tablet or a computer.
Additionally, she has provided information for a resource related to dyslexia and speech.
