  • Master's Degree in Special Education from University of Utah

  • I taught special education or resource for 11 years in St. George, UT and I'm on my third year here at WCS teaching fourth-grade.

More About Me

I grew up in a little town in Wyoming. My family raises cattle there.

I have 3 nieces and 1 nephew at WCS.

Things I love

I love to be in nature; going to the park, hiking, rock climbing, being on the water, I love it all!

I enjoy playing sports, riding bikes, and playing board games.

Education

  • BA in Education from Biola University

  • Alumni of Woodland Christian

  • This is my first year of teaching in a classroom setting. I was a substitute teacher this last year for grades K-12.

  • I have also taught English in Carpi, Italy as well as multiple summer camps at Mount Hermon.

Things I love

  • Surfing, the beach, riding quads and being in nature {science rules}! I am almost always either listening to or making music. I love to travel and try new foods. My favorites, however, are ravioli and gelato!!

    • 8th year of teaching. I taught at WCS from 2013-2015. I then taught at VCS from the fall of 2015 through 2019 and returned to WCS this past school year.

    • Preston: 9 1/2 and goes to WCES (4th grade), plays Soccer through the city in Vacaville

    • Grayson: 6 and goes to WCES (1st grade), full of energy

  • Things I Love

    • Shopping, riding my Peloton bike, hiking, playing with my kids, coffee, homemade sweets, Tahoe, camping, Disneyland, & HARRY POTTER.
