We had a lovely christmas fair for families over two days. The younger children got to make some christmas decorations with parents and friends and the older children got to pick up some little gifts from christmas and sample some christmas treats. It was lovely to see mums and Dads spending time gluing and sticking. Thank you to all the families that donated some great raffle prizes and items for sale.
As part of their learning about add the different religions and cultures of the world, Year 2 children and a few parent helpers visited St Barnabas Church. They met and spoke to Reverend Emily Davis, explored all the different areas of the church and learned about what happens in church. The children had a great time exploring.
Children visited the Natural History Museum in london and got see dinosaurs in their christmas jumpers. Children attended a workshop on Evolution and the living things which was their topic covered their learning this term.

Feeling anxious is normal, especially after change or challenge. Help children name their feelings and use calming activities such as deep breathing, drawing, or walking outside.
Avoid dismissing worries — instead say, “I can see that feels hard.” Small, regular conversations build emotional strength.
Young Minds – Parents’ Guide

You can call/text 07429654584 or email helen@schoolscounsellingpartnership.co.uk
It was lovely to see so many families enjoying the christmas songs the children have been practicing this term. The christmas jumpers worn by the children made it al the more fun. I'm sure the children's will be singing the songs well into christmas holidays.
