In love, unity and hope!
Wow, we are so proud of how many Woodcraft Folk supporters, members and alumni showed up yesterday in solidarity to march against the far right 💚Â
There were hundreds of you and even more fantastic was thousands of people from across the UK came together in London yesterday calling for cooperation, inclusion, and social justice—values that sit at the heart of Woodcraft Folk’s mission 🫶.Â

What an amazing day. Please send your photos or videos to lauren.penny@woodcraft.org.uk.
This is just the beginning, what is important is this momentum continues! If you saw us yesterday and felt inspired to get involved here is how you can:
🔶Join a Woodcraft Folk local youth group. We have groups across Britain for all ages. There, our young members learn about big ideas and topical issues such as the environment and world peace through fun activities like craft, games, camping, and debating.
🔶Volunteer - from helping to run a local group to supporting at one of our youth centres to getting stuck in at a national camp there are lots of ways to get involved. Training providedÂ
🔶Donate - whilst we've been running for 100 years, like many organisations we are financially struggling. Regular donations mean our crucial youth work can be here for generations to come
🔶Stay at our centres - each one of our centres is unique and from families to youth groups we cater for everyone. Better still, bookings made funds the great work we do!

We'll be sharing info with our groups over the coming weeks as to what's next 📢
📣We've been giving young people a voice and calling for a peaceful, fairer world for over 100 years and everyone is welcome to join us.Â
Yesterday, we were part a movement that showed up, built on unity, in the face of hate and division. We are stronger together. Love is stronger than hate, hope is stronger than fear 🙌. Let's keep it going!
It costs money to organise a march, ensure safeguarding for our children, and run our day to day activities. Please make a donation.
