Welcome to our site!
We are excited to share the latest updates on our upcoming senior events with you. Our goal is to provide the best possible senior experience for our students as they approach this significant milestone in their lives. We have a number of exciting and important events upcoming. Some do not yet have dates assigned but we hope to add them soon!
Thank you for your support and involvement in making this a special time for our graduating seniors. Let's work together to create a remarkable journey for them as they embark on the next chapter of their lives.
Senior Class Picture-Date: May 31st During Advisory (10:12)
This is a wonderful opportunity for you to capture a moment in time with your classmates. We encourage all seniors to attend this event and be a part of this historic moment.
We will make accomodations so that WCA Seniors can attend this event.
We will be announcing the date of this event soon and we will hope to see you there.
Prom- May 4th, 7:00-10:00pm- Festhalle
Get ready to party! Prom 2024 will get here fast! We are excited to celebrate your hard work and achievements with you.
Remember that Prom is more than just a dance. It's a chance to reflect on the past, appreciate the present, and look forward to the future. So, let's celebrate the friendships you've made and the memories you've shared.

Seal of Biliteracy Night- Date: May 22nd 6:30 PM
The Seal of Biliteracy Ceremony is a chance to celebrate your hard work and dedication in achieving proficiency in two or more languages, alongside your family. We acknowledge the significance of being able to communicate in multiple languages in today's globalized world. Your accomplishment is not only commendable, but it also broadens your prospects for the future.
In this ceremony, we will applaud your efforts and honor you with an official Seal of Biliteracy medal.
If you have questions about the Seal of Biliteracy, please see Mrs. Koenig in the College and Career Center.
Athletic Signing Day- May 20th at 4pm in the Main Gym
Please join us in celebrating the achievements of our student-athletes as they sign their national letter of intent to play collegiate athletics. We invite you to share in their success and show your support for their future endeavors.
Our student-athletes have worked hard and demonstrated dedication to their sport, and we are incredibly proud of their accomplishments. We believe that they will continue to make us proud in their future athletic endeavors, and we are excited to watch them excel.
Senior Final Grades- May 31st
Final grades for the semester will be posted on May 31st. It is important that you communicate with your teachers to verify if there are any pending assignments or tests that need to be completed or retaken in advance of this deadline. If you are not meeting graduation requirements by May 31st, you will not be allowed to walk at graduation.
Please take the initiative to reach out to your teachers and discuss any concerns or questions you may have about your grades or performance. This will ensure that you are aware of any outstanding work that needs to be completed and that you have the opportunity to improve your grades, if necessary.
If you have any questions about graduation requirements or eligibility, please do not hesitate to contact your school counselor, or Mr. Sinn, assistant principal. They are available to provide guidance and support as you navigate the final weeks of your high school career and prepare for graduation.
Senior Trip - June 4th
Seniors are headed to Seaside Oregon for one last trip together!
Leave by 9:00 AM and be back to Woodburn by 7:00 PM.
You must fill out this permission slip and return it to the office by Spring Break (Thursday March 21st)

Senior BBQ - June 5th
Our annual Senior BBQ is on June 5th, this is a long-standing tradition at WHS! Let's enjoy delicious food, refreshing drinks, with your friends before embarking on the next chapter of your lives.
Can't wait to see you at the Senior BBQ!
Senior Farewell-June 5th
Join us for the annual Senior Farewell Event, where you will have the opportunity to visit our elementary and middle schools wearing your cap and gown to inspire the younger students in our community.
You are the role models for the next generation. Let's motivate our younger students to work hard and achieve their goals.
Senior Awards Night- May 31st
-Join us to celebrate your classmates and the awards and scholarships they have earned!
-5:30 to 6:30 in the Lectorium.
-If you are receiving any scholarships, please fill out the following survey so we can celebrate you on this night.
Mandatory Graduation Practice- June 7th,
Session A 8-11:30 Session B 12:00 - 3:30
As we prepare for your upcoming graduation ceremony, we are excited to invite you to our graduation rehearsal. During this practice run, you will have the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the ceremony proceedings, including the procession, seating arrangements, and stage directions. We want you to feel confident and prepared for the big day! Students will be split into two seperate sessions, A and B. You will be informed of which session to attend.
It is required that all graduating students attend the rehearsal to ensure a smooth and successful ceremony. Students who do not attend graduation practice without letting Mr. Sinn know they will be gone, will not be allowed to walk at graduation! If you know you will not be able to make graduation practice, please let Mr. Sinn (dsinn@woodburnsd.org) know before hand so he can set-up an individual practice session for you.
Graduation Day-
June 8th
Graduation day marks the end of your high school journey and the beginning of a new chapter in your lives. We are proud of all that you have accomplished and the hard work you have put in.
Take the time to reflect on your personal growth and the memories you have made. Remember, the possibilities are endless, and we have no doubt that you will go on to do great things.
