The Role of a School Psychologist
School Psychologists work with the Child Study Team to provide students with a safe and supportive environment that promotes learning. The Child Study Team responds to referrals, and evaluates students who may be eligible for special education. We help to ensure students succeed academically and feel supported emotionally. A School Psychologist collaborates with students, families, teachers, and staff to support our learners and provide them with the tools they need in regard to education, behavior, and mental health. My goal is to be a support system for all students to make them feel welcome and excited to come to school!
