 Principles of My Educational Vision

Development of the community, by the community, for the community!

It’s a process- includes a plan, identifies strengths and assets and decides how these can be used to help the educational community become stronger educationally, socially, and economically

It’s long term- successful education means that people stay involved

It’s a holistic approach- people, the community, their culture, all focus on learning

It’s inclusive- different interests, different needs, and a plan that meets the needs of the whole community

Development of people- committed to growing leaders within staff, students, and community members

Focus on sustainability- can initiatives be sustained educationally and economically

It’s innovative- this means finding new ways to use the resources we have, find new ones and dive into the 21st Century

Aims for diversification- being committed to creating/finding opportunities in a variety of ways, with a variety of tools

It’s collaborative- building partnerships with communities, other educational organizations, government, parents, and students
