Hello Lisbon!

This page contains all the information you will need if you are coming to visit the beautiful and sunny Portuguese capital.

Before travelling

Don't forget to bring a power plug adapter. In Portugal the power sockets are of type F.

The standard voltage is 230 V and the standard frequency is 50 Hz.

You will also need a voltage converter. Be extra careful with certain appliances because of the difference in frequency.

Arriving at the airport

EUROS

Don't forget we use Euros in the European Union. You can withdraw euros in any ATM at the airport. You can check here the conversion rate from US$ to €.

TAXIS

Taxis in arrivals have painful and long queues. You can get one in departures entrance on the top level. Taxis in Lisbon are beige and you still can spot a couple of the old-fashioned taxis, in green and black.

UBER

Uber pick up point is in departures area entrance. Go to the temporary parking in this area to collect your ride. Use the airport's free wifi to connect!
