Meet the Team: Roles and Caseload Assignments
The Woburn Memorial High School Counseling Department, led by the Director of School Counseling (Grades 6–12), serves as a comprehensive support system for students and families. We work in partnership with administrators, teachers, community organizations, and local agencies to ensure every student has the resources and guidance needed to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Our mission is to empower students to become independent learners, critical thinkers, and responsible citizens who are prepared for success beyond high school. While our students are always at the center of our work, we also recognize the importance of strong relationships with families, educators, and the wider community. Together, we are committed to promoting equity, embracing diversity, and building a culture of collaboration.
If you or your child would like to meet with a school counselor or adjustment counselor, please contact the School Counseling Office to schedule an appointment in advance.
Counselors and adjustment counselors can be reached by phone or email. Since they are often working directly with students, please allow 24–48 hours for a response. We value your concerns and will respond as quickly as possible.
Our school counseling and student support staff offer a wide range of services for students and families, including:
Academic planning and course selection
College and Career Counseling
Individual and Group Counseling
Scheduling support for new students
Consultation with families and teachers
Referrals to internal and external student support services
Referrals to special education and 504 services
Participation in Student Support Teams

We are here to support students and families throughout their journey at Woburn Memorial High School.
The WMHS School Counseling Department is committed to preparing all students for college, career, and civic readiness through a comprehensive program aligned with the ASCA National Model© and the Massachusetts Model for Comprehensive School Counseling (MASCA 3.0).
