Hello!
My name is Sarah Lair, and I am the BFMS Librarian/Media Specialist. I am from New Jersey, where I obtained my B.A. in English from Kean University and my M.L.I.S. from Rutgers University. I enjoy reading (shocker!), doing puzzles, hiking with my dog, and baking. I'm a huge advocate for finding books for reluctant readers by offering what I like to call a Lairbrary Questionnaire.
My mission is to provide a welcoming space where students (and staff) can explore, discover, and grow through books, technology, and interactive experiences. The library offers access to a wide range of resources that enhance learning and encourage new interests. I am dedicated to promoting reading and digital literacy, supporting critical thinking, and helping students grow both academically and personally. I strive to create a community where students, teachers, and families can come together to share ideas, explore new interests, and learn collaboratively, while inspiring creativity, curiosity, and teamwork.

"The library is a place full of imagination and wonder. In the library, we learn new things and try new things. Every time I walk in, I can feel the spirit. We build, we use Chromebooks, we read, and best of all, we have fun. The library is a very colorful and warm place. It is a very welcoming place—when you walk in, everyone greets you, and you make many friends."
