WMHS AP Courses and Exam Registration
All students enrolled in AP courses must join their respective AP Classrooms (section code provided by class teacher).
Any student planning to take AP exam(s) in May 2026 must also register and pay for their exam(s) at this link: payment site. Exam fees must be paid by October 23, 2025 ($60 per exam). After that date, there is a pause on registration until November 15.
Late registrations with a $40 per exam late fee will be accepted between November 15 and the FINAL deadline of February 27.
Registrations are not accepted after February 27, and no refunds will be processed after March 13, 2026. Please review FAQs on the payment site for cancellation policy information.
Students who enroll in the AP Classroom but inform us they are NOT taking AP exams will be updated accordingly in our records.
WMHS AP Exam Schedule: May 2026
Students must arrive at their assigned testing rooms at 7:40 a.m. for 8 a.m. exams and 11:40 a.m. for 12 p.m. exams, unless informed otherwise via email from Ms. Csengeto. Please ensure you check your email regularly so that you do not miss crucial information and room assignments for test day.
Please note that some exams run past the end of the school day. Students will need to plan their transportation and work schedules accordingly. Students with 12 p.m. exams must also inform coaches if they will be late to practice. Students whose exams will finish after 2 p.m. buses have departed must arrange for a ride home or wait for the 3:30 bus in a monitored area (cafeteria or media center). Students are not permitted to leave testing rooms before all students have been dismissed and all testing materials have been collected.

Special deadlines
Students taking the AP Computer Science Principles exam must submit their performance tasks as final by April 30 at 11:59 p.m. ET. This a requirement that must be completed by the deadline, separate from the exam scheduled for May 14.
Students taking AP Art: 3-D Art and Design and AP Drawing will work with their teacher to submit their portfolio components by May 8 at 8 p.m. ET. There is no additional scheduled test date for these students. Grading is based on submission of the portfolio components.
What to bring on exam day
ALL STUDENTS must bring the following on test day:
Fully-charged WMHS-issued Chromebook AND charging cable. Do not bring a personal device.
Power banks and external laptop batteries are permitted. You'll need to leave any external power source on your desk for inspection prior to the exam. Students must not share external power sources.
MEMORIZED College Board username and password - required to log in to the Bluebook app for hybrid and fully digital testing, as well as to use the DAC app for the speaking portion of world language exams. Please review this video regarding student accounts.
Pens (black or dark blue only)
Pencils (#2 only - no mechanical pencils)
A watch (CANNOT be a smart watch - must be traditional analog or digital with no internet capability)
For exams that allow or require the use of calculators - up to 2 approved calculators with the necessary capabilities [see this list for approved calculators]. Please note the Desmos built-in calculator is also available as an option in Bluebook for these exams.
Students taking AP Physics may choose to bring a ruler or straightedge.

**Food or drink - please note that this may only be consumed in the designated break area during the ten-minute scheduled break between exam sections. Food/drink are not permitted during the rest of the exam period.
What NOT to bring on exam day
DO NOT bring the following items to the testing room(s). Please note that a student observed with any prohibited items during testing or breaks may be dismissed from the exam, the item/device may be confiscated, the student's score may be canceled, and no retest may be permitted.
Backpacks/purses - leave these in your locker
Cell phones, wearable devices (smart watches, fitness trackers, smart glasses, etc.) or electronic equipment of any kind including tablets, non-school-issued laptops, cameras, or any other device that can access the internet. Separate computer monitors are not permitted.
School-issued Chromebooks and [optional] external computer mice are the only permitted electronic devices.
Stylus pens, Apple pens, smart pens, etc.
Unapproved calculators
Reference guides, keyboard maps, or other typing instructions
Watches that beep, have an alarm, or are connected to the internet or another electronic device in any way
Hats and other head coverings
Clothing or shoes with subject-related information
AP exam study materials - these must not be brought into the exam room
Books, notes, notebooks, compasses, protractors, Whiteout/correction fluid, dictionaries, or highlighters
Mechanical pencils, No. 3 pencils, colored pencils
Scratch paper
This is provided for you where permitted, so you should NOT bring your own.
Food or drink
Food and drink may be consumed ONLY during the scheduled ten-minute break in the designated break area

Earning college credit for AP Exams
Students may be able to earn college credit for their AP courses, based on their exam score(s). Each college has their own policies on how they award credit. Using the AP Credit Policy Search, students can see how particular colleges/universities award credit for AP. Students can search by AP Exam, or by institution.
Sending AP scores
June 20, 2026 is the deadline to send your free AP score report to the college or university of your choosing. Please review these instructions regarding your free score send.
Beyond your one free score report, you can pay to have scores sent to additional colleges or scholarship programs that require them. The fee is $15 per report. Please review these instructions regarding sending scores.
FAQs
Can I leave an exam early to get the 2 p.m. bus, or if I have practice or work?
No.
What happens if I'm too sick to come to school on exam day?
If you have a doctor note for your absence, your exam may be rescheduled to a late testing date dictated by College Board. Notes must be sent to karen.johnson@wmtps.org. Exams not supported by doctor notes will not be rescheduled.
Late testing is not approved for feeling unprepared for an exam, forgetting about an exam, oversleeping, work conflicts, or family vacations.
What if I have two exams in the same day?
Bring lunch or a snack to eat between exams. There will be a brief break between the 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. exams.
What if my lunch is scheduled during my exam?
Bring lunch or a snack to eat before or after your exam or during the scheduled ten-minute exam break.
Can I eat during my exam?
Students are only permitted to eat or drink during exams if they have had this accommodation approved by College Board. Otherwise, students may eat snack or drink water only during the scheduled ten-minute break.

Do I get extended time or other accommodations for my AP exams?
Students who are have applied and were approved for accommodations through College Board will receive those accommodations that were approved. If you are unsure, speak with your case manager (for students with IEPs) or school counselor (for students with 504 plans).
Can I sit with my friends during the exams?
As with all other testing you experience at WMHS, you will be instructed where to sit during your exam. Seating is randomized.
