7th Grade Math

Welcome to 7th Grade Math!!

20% of the student's grade is homework
- Homework is graded out of 5 points and is assigned almost every day.
- Late homework assignments will not be accepted!
- Band lessons, field trips, school activities,....etc does not excuse you from the assignment. You are responsible for getting the current day's assignment as well as showing me the previous night's assignment before leaving for band lessons, fields trips,....etc
- I have a strict NO WORK NO CREDIT policy. If a student only puts down answers and does not show work(unless otherwise stated) he/she will receive a 0 for homework.
50% of the students grade are tests
- Test are graded out of 100 points.
30% of the student's grade will be made up of quizzes and projects
- Quizzes will be graded on varying points based upon the amount of content on the quiz. For example, a mid-chapter quiz will be worth 50 points since it will cover half the chapter. Whereas another quiz that covers one or two sections could be worth 15-25 points.
- Projects will be graded based upon the length of the project.
