CollegeOpenTextbooks.org is a nonprofit website and early leader in the open education movement that was launched in 2007 to promote free, high-quality open textbooks — especially for community colleges and lower-division college courses. It partnered with hundreds of colleges, universities, and education organizations to raise awareness about openly licensed digital textbooks, provide training and peer support for instructors, and help reduce students’ textbook costs by linking to and supporting openly available educational resources.

arXiv is a free distribution service and an open-access archive for nearly 2.4 million scholarly articles in the fields of physics, mathematics, computer science, quantitative biology, quantitative finance, statistics, electrical engineering and systems science, and economics. Materials on this site are not peer-reviewed by arXiv.
The Asian Center is the University of the Philippines' only unit with a regional area of specialization and one of the colleges in the university's Diliman campus. Established in 1955 as the Institute of Asian Studies, the Asian Center offers graduate-level multidisciplinary programs on Asian Studies and on Philippine Studies.Its mandate—the study of Asia—is underpinned by law, Republic Act 5334, which took effect in June 1968. Digital Library of the Commons (DLC) is a gateway to the international literature on the commons. The DLC provides free and open access to full-text articles, papers, and dissertations. This site contains an author-submission portal; an Image Database; the Comprehensive Bibliography of the Commons; a Keyword Thesaurus, and links to relevant reference sources on the study of the commons.

Dryad is a digital repository of curated, open-access scientific research. It is run by a not-for-profit membership organization that aims to "promote a world where research data is openly available, integrated with the scholarly literature, and routinely reused to create knowledge." It is free to access, but note that there is a publishing charge associated if you wish to publish your data in Dryad.
