Meet the Librarian
Welcome! My name is Mrs. King. I am the Library Media Specialist at Jackson-Wonder Elementary. I have a Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Arkansas and a M.A. in Library Information Science from the University of Memphis. I have taught Kindergarten for five years and 4th grade for four years. This will be my third year in the library at JWES. My goal as a media specialist is to provide an innovative environment for students to become life long learners. I will promote literacy through books and technology, as well as provide students with the resources needed to locate answers to unknown questions. I look forward to a very exciting year of media instruction with your child!
