Zen Zone
The Zen Zone is a dedicated space created to support our students in the development of mindfulness tools to equip them to deal with their anxiety, stress and depression. Mindfulness interventions improve attention, self-control, emotional resilience, recovery from addiction, memory and immune response.
What we are trying to teach our students is that they can choose to respond to what is happening rather than have an emotional reaction which leads to increased anxiety and at times avoidance of classes.
Its about teaching them to be fully present in the moment.
