The 2023-24 school year marks my 25th year in education and my 11th year proudly serving as WME principal.   I've spent my career in rural schools because I truly appreciate the #allR1 feeling that small communities give!  I received a Bachelor's in Science degree from Northwest Missouri State University and Master's and Specialist in Education degrees from the University of Missouri-Columbia.  I have been able to teach kindergarten, first, third, and fourth grades.  I really appreciate being able to interact with students from Prekindergarten to fifth grade as elementary principal!

When I'm not at school, I enjoy swimming and gardening in the summer and playing board games and crafting in the winter while spending time with my husband, Deryl, our daughters Della and Sadie, and our puppy, Mocha.
