In addition to my teaching duties this year, I also direct the school play each fall, sponsor Specdra, the school's speech and drama club, and advise the yearbook.
Being a teacher is, I truly believe, my life's calling, and I'm excited to begin this new school year.
About Me:
The 2022-2023 school year is my 10th year of teaching and 4th at Wellsville-Middletown. Throughout my career, I have taught 6th-12th grade, College Prep English, Journalism, Literature and Film Connections, and Creative Writing. At WMR-1, I teach 7th grade ELA, 8th grade ELA, English I, and Yearook.
Outside of teaching, I am a huge St. Louis Blues hockey fan and Chicago Cubs baseball fan, and enjoy a wide range of activities and hobbies.
I grew up in St. Louis, MO and graduated from Pattonville High School in 2001. I graduated from Southwest Baptist University in 2006, and am 4 courses away from completing my M.S. degree in Curriculum and Instruction, also from SBU.
