Aloha and welcome to 7th Grade English Language Arts! I am looking forward to sharing my passions for reading and writing with students and families this school year. I have been teaching ELA at Waimea Middle School since 1996 and feel honored to be a part of such a special school community.

I was raised on Oahu and moved to Waimea in 1996 after receiving my Teaching Certification in teaching English from UH Manoa. In addition to reading, I have many interests such as cooking, swimming, surfing, stand up paddling, hiking, yoga and ¨adventurcising¨. I have two grown children, a husband, a cat named Max, and a dog named Strider.
