I attended college at Western Michigan University and I got my bachelors in English and then my masters in secondary education. I also got a bachelors in psychology and plan to go back to school to get my masters in psychology/school counseling. 

During my time at Western, I found myself still doing what I love most, playing volleyball. I hope one day I can become a coach and do both of my passions. I have played volleyball for many many years and hope to continue. 

Some might ask if I always knew that I was going to go into education and I always say yes. My mom and my grandma have both worked in education and I have always been drawn to it. My mom is a high school counselor and she has a therapy dog that goes to the high school with her. Feel free to follow her instagram I will link below!!

I have always had a love for photography and it has crossed my mind a few times to get a side hustle. I think that so much beauty can be captured in a picture that can last a life time. The main picture on this webpage is one I took myself. What do you call a flower that is always happy? A sunflower!
