We are delighted that you are interested in joining the WMG Academy Sixth Form from September. This can be a big change for students, and often a large step up, both in terms of work load and the expectations around independent study. With that in mind we seek to support our students throughout their time in the Academy and we would like to support you now before you formally start your courses with us. You will find some useful information on this page as well as a set of summer transition activities which we have selected to help introduce you to some of the topics you will be studying from September.

Transition Work
On this website you will find a PDF for each subject in the Sixth Form. These documents seek to provide you with a brief overview of the topics you will be studying in September, some transition work to help you use this current time productively and a link to the course specification should you wish to understand the course structure better. It is suggested that you aim to complete the transition task to your best ability and bring that with you when you start the course.
It is also encouraged that you use the topics to independently begin studying the subject content in advance of September, this will help you make the best possible start when we return to lessons.
Curriculum Booklet
We have prepared a document that provides an overview of the different courses we offer in the Sixth Form. If you would like to view this to look at a summary of the course content or qualification details please click the link below that will take you to the document.
