I am a multi-media artist focusing primarily on fiber art and ceramics.

For many years, I have been teaching students of all ages and abilities the elements of art, art history and ceramics to cultivate enjoyment and growth in one's own artistic expression.

I have taught at Main Line Art Center, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The

Woodmere Art Museum and the Violette de Mazia Foundation. I am a resident

artist in numerous schools as a Pennsylvania Council Artist through the

Philadelphia Arts in Education Partnership. I direct Main Line Art Center camp.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree from Chestnut Hill College. My studies

continued at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art and the University of

the Arts post graduate classes. I have a certificate from the Violette de

Mazia Foundation/Barnes Foundation in the study of fine art.

My goal for your children..

I believe that learning about the world through the process of visual art

is as important to children as breathing. Teaching children how to take an

idea from their inner world and construct it in two or three dimensions is

a powerful tool enhancing every aspect of their education and their lives.

It is my responsibility as a teacher to fully engage your children, not

only in an interesting and fun project, but also in a process of thought

that cultivates the power of curiosity and invention within them.
