Anya Ruzicka '25 (she/her) - Director, Scenic Designer, Projection Designer, Sound Designer, Dramaturg
Anya Ruzicka (Director) is a Senior double majoring in English and Theatre. This show is Anya's Senior Honors Thesis and Directorial, and she appreciates all of the support she has received throughout this process. She wants to thank her cast, prod staff, and crew, as well as her family and friends. She also wants to thank her Theatre Major Advisor, David Garrett, for all of his teachings and advice. She especially wants to thank her thesis advisor, Laurie Wolf, for her guidance, patience, and wisdom. Enjoy the world of The Skriker!
Ty Richardson '27 (he/him) - Stage Manager, Production Manager, Assistant Sound Designer
Ty Richardson (he/him) is a sophomore at the college double-majoring in theatre and public policy. This is his seventh show stage managing at William and Mary and can't wait to do many more! He would like to thank both his friends and family for always supporting him in his theatrical endeavors. He would like to give a special shout-out to Anya for both her friendship and for trusting him in stage managing this show. He thanks you for coming and hopes you enjoy the show.
Kathleen Khorn '27 (she/her) - Assistant Stage Manager
Kathleen Khorn is a sophomore history major serving as the Assistant Stage Manager (ASM) for the production. As a history major, she enjoys exploring the stories of the past and finds theater to be a unique way to bring narratives to life. Kathleen is excited to contribute to the success of the show by ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. She is thrilled to be part of the team!
Sadie Vaughan '27 (they/she) - Choreographer
Sadie Vaughan is a sophomore Kinesiology and Performance Activism Through Dance Double Major. They are excited to be the Choreographer and work with Anya on her vision for the Passerby in this production of The Skirker. Sadie is a member of Orchesis, Sinfonicron, Pointe Blank, and the Women’s Ultimate Frisbee Team B.
Matthew Landry '27 (he/him) - Technical Director
My name is Matt Landry and I will be the Technical Director for The Skriker. Past experience includes shop carp work on the productions of By The Way, Meet Vera Stark, Frog and Toad, Men on Boats, and Fun Home. I am a sophomore and will declare as a Theater Major sometime soon.
Reid Rasmussen '27 (they/them) - Props Supervisor
Reid Rasmussen is a Sophomore majoring in Theatre and History. Reid is playing Johnny Squarefoot, Spriggan, and is one of the Blue Men, and is also the Props head! Outside of Theatre, Reid enjoys knitting and crocheting, and works as a carpenter in the Scene shop.
Melina Llames '24 (she/they) - Costume Designer
Melina is a W&M alumna, c/o 2024, having double majored in Theatre and Film & Media Studies. During her time with the William & Mary Theatre Department, she has been involved with almost every aspect of theatre, both on and off stage. Some of her favorite work with the department includes performing as Jenny in Company, assistant directing Romeo & Juliet, stage managing A Midsummer Night's Dream, assistant costume designing By the Way, Meet Vera Stark, and costume designing How I Learned to Drive. She's excited to be designing costumes for The Skriker, and has loved researching the history and mythological background of the show.
Mayah Tiwari '27 (she/her) - Makeup Designer/Head
Mayah Tiwari (Makeup Head) is a sophomore at William and Mary double majoring in criminal sociology and theatre. She’s previously done makeup design for The Greenhouse and Antigone (coming soon)! Outside of makeup, recent acting credits of hers include Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time (Siobhan), Men on Boats (William Dunn), and By the Way, Meet Vera Stark (Anna Mae Simpkins/Afua Assata Ejobo). Josh Tessler '26 (he/him) - Lighting Designer
Originally from Pennsylvania, Josh is a junior majoring in Economics and he can’t wait to design lights for The Skriker. Josh has previously designed for various shows with Mint Theatre Company and other W&M Theatre Second Season Shows including, The Empire Builders. He would like to thank his parents for always taking his midnight phone calls and also his sister, to whom he is a general nuisance.
Calder Sprinkle '25 (he/him) - Music Director
Calder Sprinkle is a senior majoring in Music and English and is thrilled to be coordinating music for The Skriker. Creating and performing music for drama since early high school, he is grateful for the opportunity to explore the sonic storytelling in Churchill’s unique and challenging world. Calder is very fortunate to be working with an incredible team of composers and sound designers for this project, and would like to thank them, as well as the rest of the production staff, for their collaboration.
Topher Zane '25 (he/him) - Fight Choreographer
Topher is a senior and Theatre major. He is a fight director, intimacy director, and director who primarily works with Shakespeare. Topher is absolutely thrilled to be working on The Skriker!
Anna Longley '26 (they/them) - Poster Designer
Anna is a junior at William & Mary with a major in Studio Art. They primarily focus on printmaking but work with fine tipped pens and charcoal as well. They are the poster designer for The Skriker and they are extremely excited to be a part of the show!
Harry Rohne '26 (he/him) - Photographer
Harry is a Junior at William & Mary, double majoring in Government and Hispanic Studies. He is excited to be working on photography for The Skriker, capturing all the dynamic elements of the show. As a lover of theatre, it has been a pleasure for him to work on various university productions with his photographic skills throughout his college career.
