Hi there! I am so excited to be supporting Athey as the School Social Worker! I work at all of the middle schools in the District and am at Athey on Mondays and Wednesday mornings. In my role, I support students and families in finding and accessing resources in the community, particularly around mental health. I also support school teams and students regarding topics like trauma and mental health. My family consists of my husband, two high school sons (14 and 16), and dog Lottie (5). In my spare time I enjoy collecting books, cooking new recipes, and spending time in the yard hoping to see some birds and squirrels!
