DRIVER'S EDUCATION CLASSES

Summer 2023

Registration opens November 6, 2022

Two Driver's Education classes are being offered during the summer of 2023. Students must sign up early to secure a spot. There will be an informational meeting on November 3 at 6 in HS Gym during Parent/Teacher conferences to talk about Registration, Driving time sign-up, Class schedule, parent responsibilities (driving time with parents 20 hours/5 night time), payment for class, and everything needed to complete the course. Driver's Log can be found in the resources tab above. When registering use an email that you use everyday. Class information and date changes will be sent to that email used during registration. Remember summer sports, vacations and County Fair when signing up for registration.

Price is $320. Make Checks payable to West Lyon Community School.

The tentative schedule is as follows:

• First class: May 30 (Tuesday) - June 9 (Start dates will depend on winter weather and make-up days)

• Time: 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. @ HS

• Must have permit by May 26 to be eligible. No exceptions!

• Only 30 drivers allowed for this session.

• This course is recommended for County Fair participants.

• Second class: July 10 - July 20 (Start dates will depend on winter weather and make-up days)

• Time: 7:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. @ HS

• Must have permit by July 7 to be eligible. No exceptions!

• This course is recommended for baseball/softball players.

• Only 30 drivers allowed for this session.
