Welcome to my website! I am a high school English teacher and the 7th-12th grade TAG teacher at West Lyon in addition to serving as the individual speech coach for 9th-12th grade students. I have been working at West Lyon since 2011. I earned my bachelor’s degree in English Secondary Education from the University of Sioux Falls in 2011 and my Gifted Endorsement from Morningside College in 2012. I enjoy attending professional conferences sponsored by organizations like the Iowa Council of Teachers of English, National Council of Teachers of English, Iowa Talented and Gifted, National Association of Gifted Children, and the Iowa High School Speech Association.
I live near Lester with my husband, Tyler and our two boys. We love to garden, cook, and travel together.
