Welcome to 2nd Grade!

My name is Mrs. Mickelopoulos and I am the 2nd grade teacher at Westchester Lutheran School. I am very excited to have your child in my class and look forward to getting to know him/her. No matter what the future holds, we will be learning and working on many exciting things whether in or out of the classroom.

Students are most successful when they are engaged and part of the instruction process. My goal is to provide a classroom experience, whether virtual or real, that students feel comfortable and secure to grow and learn. The lessons that they learn on how to behave, interact, and take responsibility are as important to their learning and growth as the subjects taught in the classroom. Most important, students learn when they have fun and we have lots of fun in 2nd grade! I look forward to a great year of fun!
