Mr. Lake's Kindergarten 

My name is Mr. Jordan Lake and I am the kindergarten teacher at Westchester Lutheran School. I know that any learning community functions most effectively when each learner feels a strong sense of belonging and self-worth within their classroom environment. My educational philosophy is well-reflected in these famous words from John Maxwell, "Students don't care how much you know until they know how much you care." 

I believe in providing students with a robust instructional model that includes inquiry-based learning, interactive learning structures, and explicitly taught lessons.
