In Algebra we spend a lot of our time solving for unknown variables. This skill cannot be underestimated, as it is the foundation of so many other future skills. Therefore, it is very important that you take the time you need to master them.
Hopefully by the time you reach Algebra I you have a strong foundation in solving single and two step equations like:
2x=10
4x + 7 = 31
Knowing how to do the basics will make it easier to solve the more complex equations like:
4(2x-5) = 7(3-4x) + 2
3/4 ( 2x- 3) = 3 - 9(2 + 3x) + 5x
All it takes is Understanding & Practice :)
